Chipped Old Veneers, Uneven Gum Levels

The Problem

Laura had been unhappy with the appearance of her 5 old veneers for quite some time. They were placed when she was 13 so were 15 years old when she came to see us at The London Smile Clinic.

The Solution

Eight new veneers were placed and a gum lift procedure on two teeth gave Laura her new improved smile.

The Interview

What motivated you to change your smile?

I had 5 veneers when I was 13 on the NHS after being told I could not have a brace. I chipped one of them when I was 18 and over time my gums receded and the veneers were in bad condition. I decided it was time to bite the bullet and get my new teeth sorted.

What treatment did you have?

A gum lift on 2 teeth and 8 veneers.

How did you feel during the process, was your treatment comfortable?

I fell asleep during two of my appointments so I must have been pretty relaxed!

How do you feel about the result, did it match or exceed your expectations?

I’m really pleased it has exceeded my expectations.

Is it something you would recommend to family and friends?

Definitely.

How has your new smile changed your life, what difference will it make to you?

I keep saying to my friends “look at my teeth” and pulling a snarling face at them so they can get a closer look. I am so much more confident with my smile and laughing, which I now like to do a lot.

If I could give these guys 6 stars I would! This is the second time I've been treated by Tim and his team, the first being a brand new smile 17 years ago which was & has been amazing until this year which is the first time I have had a problem. 17 years! It's a testament to the quality of work they produce. Earlier this year, one of my front teeth broke at the root meaning an implant & crown was required. Everybody involved has been outstanding from Joe who performed the Emergency temporary repair and Zacki who performed the Extraction, all the way through to Emma and the rest of the admin team; not forgetting Tim himself who's attention to detail is the same today as it was 17 years ago! Your smile is the first thing people notice, you can do no better then the London Smile Clinic. First Class, Well done.
