Dr. Zaki Kanaan
Dr. Zaki is well known in the dental community and is a respected implant and cosmetic dentist. He features prominently on the lecture circuit both nationally and internationally, lecturing on all aspects of cosmetic dentistry with a special interest in dental implants, where he has achieved a Masters Degree from Guy’s Hospital in 2001.
He routinely mentors dentists on all aspects of dental implants and has also achieved a Diploma in Dental Sedation, a Diploma in Hypnosis and is a Licenciate of the Faculty of Homeopathy, allowing him to treat patients as comfortably and holistically as possible.
He is a Past President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The London Dental Fellowship and is a longstanding member of the Association of Dental Implantology in the UK. He was also an editorial consultant for Dental Implant Summaries, a widely distributed international implant journal and currently sits on the editorial board for The International Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry and has also appeared on Channel 4’s Embarrassing Bodies programme carrying out complex implant treatments.

Dr Zaki Kanaan uses the latest techniques for single and multiple implants to ensure the most predictable placement and lasting results. He also carries out sinus, chin and ramus grafts, socket preservation as well as the All-on-4 technique.
Single or Multiple Tooth Implants
We use the latest techniques to prevent tissue loss while placing implants in the aesthetics zone and in appropriate situations, can provide immediate placement. We also have considerable experience of placing multiple implants whether to replace multiple missing teeth or to support full mouth bridgework or implant supported dentures.
Sinus Graft
Surgery to increase the amount of bone in the posterior maxilla to help prepare the site for future placement of dental implants.
Chin and Ramus Grafts
In cases where bone has resorbed and there is insufficient ridge height or width for further treatment, surgery to increase the amount of bone in the mandible, helps provide enough bone to support the placement of dental implants.
Socket Preservation
A procedure where graft material is placed in the socket of an extracted tooth at the time of extraction to preserve the alveolar ridge.
All-on-4
This treatment concept was developed to provide edentulous patients with an efficient and effective restoration using only four implants to support an immediately loaded full-arch prosthesis.
