Replace Missing Teeth

From £2050 per tooth

MAKE AN ENQUIRY

Implants are the modern way to replace missing teeth. The implant, which is made of titanium, is fitted in bone where the tooth root would normally be. When fully integrated to the bone, a post (or abutment) is attached to the implant and a crown, bridge or denture is then placed over the abutment to replace the missing tooth or teeth.

Dental implants are fitted in-house at The London smile clinic by our Implantologist. Missing teeth often lose some of the surrounding soft tissue and bone. If this is a significant amount, soft tissue and/or bone grafting may also be required either at the same time as implant placement or beforehand. Grafting procedures are also carried out in-house at the London smile clinic by our implant specialists.

A Revolution in Dental Care

Dental implants are a revolution in dental technology and biomaterials, providing an unmatched permanent solution for missing teeth and complex oral health challenges.

Initially inspired by the discovery of titanium’s bone-bonding capabilities, modern implants are designed based on principles of osseointegration, where the implant fuses with the jawbone, creating a stable and durable foundation for artificial teeth.

This integration enhances the implant’s functionality and longevity while preserving bone health and maintaining the aesthetics of your smile and facial anatomy—helping you look and feel years younger.

Rediscover Life with Implants

Dental implants offer a natural and aesthetically pleasing solution for replacing missing teeth. However, they bring also a host of additional benefits that significantly improve your quality of life and oral health.

Natural Look and Feel

Dental implants closely mimic the appearance and functionality of natural teeth—they look and feel just like the real thing.

Preserve Oral Health

By stimulating bone growth, implants prevent bone loss, helping to maintain facial structure, oral health, and a youthful appearance.

Enhanced Comfort

Implants are fixed in place, which means no more wobbly smiles, denture glue, sore spots or other hassles associated with removable dentures.

Improved Speech

With a secure fit, implants allow for clearer speech without the worry of dentures slipping when you least expect it.

Protect Adjacent Teeth

Implants do not require altering surrounding teeth, as a tooth-supported bridge does, preserving more of your own teeth.

High Success Rate

Dental implants have a high success rate, offering a reliable long-term solution for tooth replacement.

Easier Eating

Dental implants function like your own teeth, allowing you to eat your favourite foods with confidence—nothing is off the menu with dental implants!

Are implants Right For You?

Ideal candidates for dental implants have good general health, sufficient jawbone density, and healthy gums.

However, if you have significant bone loss, our team can rebuild the jaw with bone grafting to give it renewed strength for supporting implants.

Generally, implants are an accessible solution for young and old. If you’re unsure whether they are the right solution for you, contact our team to arrange an assessment.

The Treatment Process

The dental implant procedure is a multi-step process that requires precision and careful planning.

From your initial oral health assessment to the final placement of the dental crown, each phase is tailored to meet your unique needs.

Here’s what to expect during your journey to achieving a brand-new smile with dental implants.

1Your Initial Consultation

The first step is a consultation with our team to evaluate your oral health and assess if dental implants are right for you.

2Treatment Planning

Our expert implant team will then design a detailed plan is crafted, considering factors like your bone density and the location of missing teeth. For patients with insufficient bone density, this may include bone grafting to provide adequate support for the implants.

3Implant Placement

The titanium implants are surgically placed into the jawbone, acting as a new root for the missing tooth. This is carried out under local anaesthesia—so you won’t feel a thing!

4Abutment & Crown Fitting

Finally, a custom-made crown, designed to match your natural teeth, is placed onto the abutment.

5Enjoy Renewed Confidence!

All that’s left to do now is enjoy your new smile and rediscovered confidence! Our patients say that rediscovering food and showing their new smiles to the world is a positively life-changing experience.
