London Smile at AACD in New Orleans
In May, four of the London Smile Clinic team attended the American Acedemy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) annual conference held in New Orleans this year. This conference is the number one educational meeting for cosmetic dentistry. Many of the world's foremost educators presented lectures and hands-on courses over a five day event. Dr. Tim Bradstock-Smith's AACD accrediation was formally recognised and he was presented with a plaque at the Gala dinner. Tim is the first Brit to receive this award for over ten years and can be seen proudly celebrating his achievement with team members, Caroline and Sheneen above. |
Yet again this month, we have so many great cases we were unable to decide on one single winner, so we chose two! Here's the first one.
Problem: This patient came to us with an overlapping central tooth but did not wish to wear braces to correct this problem.
Solution: The two front teeth were treated with three veneers and one crown to straighten her teeth and blend with the surrounding natural teeth.
Smile of The Month: Case 2 - May 2008
Problem: This patient came to us concerned about the appearance of the protruding upper teeth. She also wanted to whiten her teeth.
Solution: Eight porcelain veneers were used to reduce the protrusion, lighten and create pleasing tooth shapes and an attractive smile. Britesmile whitening was used on her lower teeth.
