Full Mouth Reconstruction with Crowns, Veneers, Bridges and Braces
The Problem
Prior to full mouth reconstruction the crowded lower teeth were aligned with fixed braces.
The Solution
After completion of orthodontic treatment bridges, crowns and veneers were used to replace unsightly old dentistry to create a functional and aesthetic result.
The Interview
What motivated you to change your smile?
My existing teeth and dental work was in a bad condition. I felt that I looked awful!
What treatment did you have?
After orthodontic work, I had major replacements of crowns, new crowns and bridge.
How did you feel during the process, was your treatment comfortable?
I felt in good hands throughout and the discomfort was less than expected. The long sessions were tiring but I had very little pain after the anaesthesia wore off.
There was always a pleasant friendly atmosphere.
How do you feel about the result, did it match or exceed your expectations?
I am delighted by the results which exceeds my expectations. I think there will be a long-term health benefit in addition to my improved appearance.
Would you be happy to be a case study for articles in magazines?
I would like to encourage older people who can afford it to have this done. I would not mind being a case study but am not quite comfortable with being identifiable on the internet or in a publication-for third party reasons.
Is it something you would recommend to family and friends?
Absolutely unequivocally if they can afford it.
How has your new smile changed your life, what difference will it make to you?
I feel happier and more confident interacting with people whereas before treatment I knew my ugly teeth made a bad impression, i have to learn to smile again.
